At Disneyd23 we got a rare look at that legacy up close. From original concept art and storyboards to the early ideas that eventually became the characters and worlds we know today. Then seeing icons like Woody & Buzz, Jessie & Bullseye, Mike & Sulley, and Joy & Anxiety brought everything full circle.
From making animation history with Toy Story to continuing to push storytelling forward today, 40 years later, Pixar is still reminding us why we fell in love with movies in the first place. To infinity… and beyond.

The attitude, the glamour, the deliciously wicked energy… darling, nobody does it quite like her. And the baddest to ever do it is getting her own ride?! Cruella has always driven like she owns the road, so this feels right.
Somebody alert the insurance company! From those unforgettable looks to a performance that made being bad look dangerously fabulous, Glenn Close gave us a Disney villain we’ll never stop talking about.

At D23, Feige reflected on working on his very first X-Men movie and finding himself on set with Cerebro, something he had grown up loving in the comics, now right there in front of him.
Naturally, he had to get a couple of pictures! At the time, he thought it might be his only chance to get that close to this piece of the X-Men’s world. Imagine trying to stay professional while your inner comic book fan is losing it!
Safe to say, his story with Marvel and the X-Men was far from over. That memory is a reminder that behind the movies we love are people who once dreamed of stepping into those worlds, too.
