Thunderbolts* (The New Avengers)
Thunderbolts is a solid movie. What really makes it stand out is how character-driven it is—this film feels like a therapy session for every main character. Instead of relying only on action, it gives you real reasons to care about people like Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, U.S. Agent, and Val. These former villains and antiheroes are given depth, and we get to watch them slowly build into a team.
What starts as a mission to save one person turns into a fight to save an entire city when that person goes rogue. But the real heart of the film is in how these misfits begin to feel like a true family. I hate to say it, but the Thunderbolts felt more like a team than the Avengers ever did.
I was locked in the entire time and honestly craving more by the end. And that surprise reveal about the title secretly hinting at New Avengers? So good.
